"... The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."

Revelation 11:15
In November of 1989 my wife (22) and I (23) attended a Wesleyan church as a guest of a friend of mine (that day I rededicated my life to the Lord and my wife gave her heart to Jesus). We stayed at the Wesleyan church for several months before we decided to go to Kalamazoo First Assembly, which is what I was familiar with.

In Feb - June of 2006 the Holy Spirit got a hold of me and showed me thru my 1st Disciple’r; Transformation occurred when I released my secrets and started to walk a transparent life style. The church recognized this and asked me to be a leader in the new men’s ministry.

Summer of 2012, a close friend of mine makes this profound statement to me, “there is your truth then there is THE TRUTH, but there can only be TRUTH ONE”. Immediately after that statement, the elder of our church Ron Ruch approaches me and asks if he could disciple me. For the next 2 years, we spent one night a week together and he poured into my life - he became my spiritual dad. He taught me how to be Christ like by imitating Jesus and not just following Him (Jesus). In Aug of 2014 he was called to move to Minnesota and transferred the leadership of his group, “Life Style of Disciple” to me. To this day Ron and I continue our relationship via text, phone and face time. I transferred my leadership of the group to a man that I was discipling that also had the same heart and mindset for discipleship so that I could follow what the Lord placed on me to do - to lead men into true identity with the Father.

After prayerfully searching; the Lord released me to ask a man that I met thru Ron Ruch,
Bishop Daniel Cunningham. I asked if he would adopt me as his spiritual son and his answer was, “Son, I have been praying for you and was wondering when you were going to ask.”  So here I am, humbled and excited for this next chapter of the journey, too see what the Lord has in store.
